Immerse yourself in the art of mindful walking as we wander a scenic route of Crystal Lake taking in the sounds of the ancient woodland to inspire our every stride. Our club is a sanctuary for those seeking a harmonious blend of nature, mindfulness, and gentle movement.

Picture this: A mindful walk that transcends the ordinary, where each step becomes a meditation, grounding you in the present moment. The gentle soothing sound of water lapping across the lake and leaves rustling in the trees create a serene backdrop for your journey.

But that's not all – our walks seamlessly integrate gentle yoga stretches, inviting you to explore the synergy between body and breath. This is yoga unbound, an outdoor practice that mirrors the ever-changing beauty of the natural world.

As we conclude our mindful exploration, the journey transitions to a warm and welcoming gathering. Hot drinks await, encouraging the continuation of shared moments and reflections. It's a time to savor the camaraderie and bask in the afterglow of a mindful journey well-taken.

Helping people feel good in their body and mind is my passion. With extensive experience as a qualified holistic and massage therapist alongside being a 200hr Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher I offer a range of sessions that support wellbeing including yoga, meditation, crystal healing, paddleboarding and SUP yoga.

Our Club

Our walk and stretches will be enjoyed at a slow, mindful pace and last approximately 50 minutes.
 
Through walking mindfully you bring your awareness to your activity, being completely present in the moment. This gives space to clear your mind, promotes relaxation, lowers stress levels and creates a deeper connection with nature which has been proven to improve mental health. Whilst taking in the fresh air and serene surroundings of our walk we will incorporate pauses for gentle stretching. Stretching the body can help to reduce aches and pains, improve mobility, increase flexibility, improve posture and aid muscle recovery. 
 
Suitable for all abilities.
Our walks will be outdoors in all weathers.

BOOKING INFO

  • Our walks are held Thursdays at 9am.
  • You can book online upto 1hour before the start time.
  • No experience necessary for our club and no membership fee, just pay as you go.
  • Under 18's to be accompanied by a participating adult.
  • No equipment required, just ensure you have suitable outdoor clothing for the weather.

THE VENUE

Our Mindfulness Walks will take place at Ocean Walker Academy, walking the grounds with incredible views over Crystal Lake.

  • Free onsite car parking
  • Changing cubicles and toilets
  • Cafe in our Wellbeing Barn will be open for our club members after your walk

Our Wellbeing barn is a no-shoe zone, so upon entry please take off your shoes and leave coats/bags etc on the racking provided.

What to wear

Wear comfortable clothing for walking, and moving about.The Yoga stretches will be part of your walk, you will not need to sit or lay down on the ground, it is all done while standing.
During the Winter, we recommend waterproof clothing and boots/shoes. Our walks will be mostly on grass which can be very wet and a little muddy through the Winter months.
We hope you will join us in the Wellbeing Barn following your walk for hot drinks and cake, which you can purchase from our cafe. Please note shoes/boots do need to be taken off in this cozy space. Our flooring in the barn is a wood effect laminate, so if you wish to bring some indoor slippers to support your feet that is absolutley fine.
