Enjoy a swim at Ocean Walker Crystal Lake with your dog!
Get in the water and enjoy the feel of swimming outdoors alongside your 4 legged friend(s).
Our gradual entrance and exit points are the perfect safe way for your dog (and you) to have a dip or paddle.
Whether your dog is a pro swimmer or this is their first time and you want to see if you can entice them in.
You have 1 hour where you can swim, dip, paddle and walk around the lake.
This 1 hour session is open for others to book also, so please ensure you have a dog that is happy in a social environment around other people and other dogs.
We have a large space opposite the lake where you and your dog can have a stroll too.
- Please keep your dog under control on a lead at all times - your dog is your responsibility.
- This is a group session and although we are limiting numbers, please be mindful of other dogs and their owners while at the venue.
- Dogs used to swimming with you are allowed off lead in the water as long as you are in control of them.
- Human lifejackets available for hire on the day for an additional £5 per person (ask at reception).
- Only floating dog toys allowed in and around the lake.
- Sorry our wetsuits are not available for hire on dog swim sessions.
- Humans must be competent swimmers.

Recommended for swimming with your dog:
- A long leash
- A dog lifejacket (bring your own)
- Don't take your dog out of its depth - dogs get tired very quickly when swimming
- Don't assume your dog can swim (or wants to) take it slowly
- Make it fun, if they don't want to swim, don't force them - maybe paddling and sniffing will be their best day ever
