Following the death of my Mother, Father and most effecting of all my Wife I experienced a period of grieving and barely functioning. I came for a swim in the early days of Crystal Lake opening its doors and have continued to come when I can. The Winter Swim Group has been initially challenging but the benefits of being with lovely people and the positive feeling of the cold water, I feel has contributed to my enjoying life again.
I love what Adam and Gemma have done with the place and I look forward to watching as some more of their plans reach fruition.
