ABOUT STEVE:
Steve Smith and wife Jenny moved to France in 2017 from Portsmouth UK and set up Gites at Civray to accomplish their dream of creating a training facility revolved around outdoor pursuits to include swimming, running and cycling.

In 2018, Steve and Jenny opened for business with an offering of 4 beautifully restored Gites, a heated 25m 2 lane outdoor pool, and an abundance of country roads to explore as well as many stunning open water swimming locations to choose from.

As a qualified Ocean Walker Technique coach, Steve is perfectly placed to offer 1-1 and small group lessons at his facility, with the added benefit of being able to incorporate swim sessions into a family summer holiday. You will also find Steve supporting Adam Walker on Ocean Walker swim camps Worldwide.

If you have not had a session with an Ocean Walker Technique coach before, then you will require a STARTER SESSION as your first booking (see LESSONS page for further information on what this means).
Options:
[1-1] 1 person private lesson
[2-1] 2 people sharing a private lesson (good for couples, friends and team mates)
[3-1] 3 people sharing a private lesson (good for friends, groups and team mates)

My coach Steve was really patient with me despite my temper tantrums….A strange thing happened, finally all the stages came together and the leg kick (or lack of) just felt right.
