What a lovely day spent at Adam's Ocean Walker Lake! It was Warrior Race Day on 31st August, and although it is a race the atmosphere was like a "fun run" only in water. All the participants and supporters were in good spirits, with everyone supporting each other, very friendly, cheering all the swimmers to the last one.
Adam and his fabulous staff were fab, supportive and encouraging. There was a superb raffle with some fabulous prizes, a coffee and panini truck and an ice cream van, all contributing to a cracking day.
Oh and I came 3rd in the 1.5k breaststroke race - very unexpected!
