What a gem! I swam in a pool regularly before lockdown and I was reluctant to start again when regulations eased. A friend told me about the lake and I am so pleased she did. It is so peaceful and the water is refreshing. After experiencing open water swimming I really don't want to go in a pool in the future - perhaps when it gets really cold.
