DESCRIPTION:Learn to SUP at Crystal Lake is a 2-hour introductory session covering everything you need to get confidently onto a stand up paddleboard. Set on our beautiful purpose-built lake in Lincolnshire\, with easy ramped entry and exit\, it's a brilliant experience for all ages and abilities — from complete beginners to those who've been curious for a while and finally want to give it a go. \nOnce you have your confidence\, weekly paddling sessions are available where you can bring your own SUP or hire one of ours for 50 minutes\, taking in the scenery and nature at your own pace. \n\nWhat to expect\n  \n\n\n\nDuration\n2 hours\n\n\nGroup session price\n£60 per person\n\n\n1-1 lesson price\n£90 per person\n\n\nLocation\nCrystal Lake\, Ocean Walker Academy\, Lincolnshire\n\n\nInstructor\nSam Lister (qualified)\n\n\nExperience needed\nNone — suitable for all ages and abilities\n\n\n\n\nWhat's included in your session\n  \nYour session with Sam covers everything from the basics through to paddling around Crystal Lake with confidence. Lifejacket\, board and paddle are all included in the fee. \n\nSafety briefing before entering the water\nEquipment and gear overview\nHow to get onto and stand up on your board safely\nHow to use the paddle correctly\nHow to manoeuvre the board: going forward\, turning and stopping\nOpen water practice time paddling around Crystal Lake\n\nIt can take a few practices to feel fully comfortable\, but this introduction sets you off in the right direction. \n\nWhat to wear\n  \nYou will get wet\, so plan accordingly. We recommend moisture wicking fabrics such as rash vests\, board shorts\, leggings or swimwear. Wearing a top and leggings or shorts rather than swimwear alone is advised\, as you will be kneeling on and climbing onto the board. \n\nAquashoes or barefoot — both work well\nAdult wetsuits available to hire from reception for £10\n\n\nGood to know\n  \n\nBookings online only — walk-ins and telephone bookings cannot be accepted\nBookings are first come\, first served\nBy booking you agree to OWA terms and conditions and waiver agreement\nMinimum age is 6 years old\nChildren aged 6 to 12 must be accompanied by an adult on the water\nUnder 18s must be accompanied to the venue by an adult\nNon-participating adults pay £3 per person in cash at reception on arrival\n\n\n\nSpaces are limited — book online to secure your spot. \nBOOK LEARN TO SUP
